Sea Kayak Tours/Private Classes
Located in Stratford we offer Custom Destination tours of LI sound, tours range from short to long depending on your abilities. Whatever location you choose there's hundreds of places to kayak in CT including Long Beach Stratford, Charles Island, Tidal Housatonic River.
Sea Kayak/Canoe Tour $165
Lake Tours, kayak or Canoe Flat-water lakes are perfect for beginner kayakers to explore in calm conditions. Lake Lillinoah and Housatonic are personal favorites. We are also open to travel and explore other lakes in CT.
Winter Pool Session $125 3hr
Newtown community center Sundays 5-8p for private instruction. Rescue/Recovery and rolling classes available!
Custom Classes $150 3hr
X-Level 3 ACA Sea Kayak instructor. Classes include , kayak rolling, rescue techniques Intro/Advanced paddle maneuvers Into/Advanced Edging all covered in detail. Great Classes for a quick tune, to level up your paddling skills, as well as introduction to newer paddlers. Classes can be custom tailored to you!
Greenland /Techniques 3hr: $150
Greenland paddles are an efficient way to tour with less impact on body for longer tours. If your interested in learning to use one this is the class for you!
Gear Rentals: we are a small business, but can provide some gear for the outing, as we grow we will acquire more.
Reservations:
Reservations can be made via email or phone. Please wait for confirmation of reservation before paying deposit.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made 72 hours before scheduled trip to receive a full refund. Late arrivals (after 1hr of scheduled trip) and no shows will forfeit their deposit
Bad Weather Policy
Unless you hear otherwise from John, he will be at the launch location at the scheduled time. Should threatening weather force us to postpone your trip, we will gladly reschedule or cancel your trip. Your deposit will be refunded for a cancelled trip due to inclement weather.
